Terms & Conditions

Hyperborean Designs & Store is a Finland based shop (furtheron "the store") and these terms and conditions apply to the web-store at www.hyperborea.fi.

Ordering

Please notice: Deliveries to countries outside the EU may incur additional costs in the form of customs duties or import taxes, which you must bear yourself.

Items are sold to customers over 18 years of age and businesses and organizations. Customer is responsible for meeting these terms. Customer is responsible for giving correct information for shipping. Customer takes full responsibility on how the local laws apply to items he or she is ordering (if Eg. swords are not legal in your country for you to import, then don´t. We are not responsible for your legislation). When placing an order, customer agrees to comply with terms and conditions upheld at the time.

Customer agrees to understand that Eg. handcrafted items are always unique and will not necessarily be totally similar to one another and thus may differ from the image on the shop. International orders are paid via credit cards accepted by our webstore or by bank transfer if so agreed.

Card payments are handled by Paypal and Stripe according to their respective Terms of Service.

Shipping

Handling orders takes usually 1-3 business days. Please note that operations of couriers, post offices etc, is beyond us. Wars, unrest, floods, disease epidemics and other catastrophes and actions or restrictions due to them are also beyond our control and thus responsibility.

Goods are shipped usually within 1-3 days to one week most often but it may take up to 1-3 weeks depending on nature of the stock of goods and delivery time of given manufacturers. Such exceptions and special situations are being informed to the customer. We also keep items for sale that may briefly be sold out and await restock.

Our default delivery method is Finnish Postal Services.

Returns

Unless the goods are damaged due to reasons resultant of the seller or faulty, returns are done on customers expense. Possible returns must be done within 14 days of receiving the shipment and informed immediately about to the store beforehand. The returns which are not contacted about or agreed upon are not accepted.

Defective and damaged products have the right to return via proper procedure:
If the delivered product is damaged, the customer must immediately make a written error message to the store, describing the damage and return the product as a customer return to the post office. The customer must state in his error message whether he wants the corresponding product to be replaced or whether he returns the defective product and wants a refund. For a refund, the customer must attach an account number to the refund.

Customer is responsible for keeping all the associated documents; the return documents and the postal receipts and tracking numbers.

Privacy

The hyperborea.fi store respects and abides the General Data Protection Regulation and keeps only voluntarily given customer information in order to fulfill made orders and maintain necessary customer service. No customer or user information is ever handed over to third parties nor are any transaction details ever revealed to the store by payment intermediaries, banks or credit card companies. The store reserves right to terminate any customer created account at whatever time if seen appropriate or necessary.

Conditions of use

All contents of the webshop, including text, images and photography are property of the webshop owner unless otherwise stated. All duplication, copying and distribution without written permission is strictly forbidden.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Republic of Finland.
